The Education Program promotes suicide awareness through workshops, seminars and presentations. We also provide skill development training in communication, suicide intervention, and bereavement support.
Workshops and presentations are available in a few ways:

The aim of this learning experience is to increase the understanding and knowledge of suicide for individuals who are in a helping relationship with people who might be at risk for suicide. Some factors that put people at risk for suicide include: experiencing significant losses, facing multiple stressors, isolation, and having few resources. Trainers will tailor the sessions to meet needs of any special areas of interest, depending on composition of the group.

Registrants must bring in or fax to us a copy of their certificate before the training date. If unable to provide a certificate, please register in one of our regular 8-hour intervention workshops. (It qualifies as refresher training for those who require it for their workplace.)
